This Privacy Policy explains what information JhuMasterclass (the chef's-knife masterclass at www.jhumasterclass.com, operated by Targun Tech on behalf of Jesse Hu) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep things simple and collect only what we need to run the course.
What we collect
- Account info — your email address, and an optional username, name, and location you choose to add.
- Payment info — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only a record that your purchase succeeded.
- Activity — comments, community posts, photos you upload, and basic usage needed to provide the course.
- Technical data — standard server logs and cookies required to keep you signed in.
How we use it
- To sign you in (we use one-time email links and codes — there are no passwords).
- To give you access to the masterclass and the community.
- To send notifications you've opted into (e.g. replies to your comments) and important account or support emails.
- To respond to support requests and keep the platform secure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the course work — for example Stripe (payments), our email provider (sign-in links and notifications), and Microsoft Azure (hosting). Each only receives what it needs to do its job.
Your choices
- You can manage email-notification preferences anytime in your account Settings.
- You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account, by emailing us.
