How we keep the Guild useful, kind, and safe.
The Guild is a place for makers — beginners and veterans alike — to share progress, ask questions, and learn from each other. A few simple expectations keep it that way.
Be respectful
Everyone started somewhere. Give feedback the way you'd want to receive it — honest and constructive, never cruel. No harassment, hate, or personal attacks.
Safety first
Forging is dangerous work. When you share techniques or advice, keep safety front and center — proper PPE, sane shop practices, and respect for the heat and the tools. Don't encourage anyone to do something reckless.
Keep it on-topic and genuine
- Share your own work, questions, and knowledge — that's what the Guild is for.
- No spam, scams, or unsolicited self-promotion.
- Only post images and content you have the right to share.
Moderation
To keep things healthy, we may edit or remove posts and comments that break these guidelines, and suspend accounts that repeatedly do. See something that doesn't belong? Use the feedback button or email huhandmadeknives@gmail.com.
